Include a gene or protein identifier in each line. Valid identifiers are gene symbol, Entrez gene id, UniProt KB id or accession, Ensembl gene or protein identifier and many others. The submitted list could be a mixture of identifiers.

The given identifiers can be mapped to protein (UniProtKB) or gene (Entrez) identifiers. If the given list of identifiers correspond to genes, it is advisable select "Entrez gene" in the dropbox. Otherwise the number of mapped identifiers will be larger than the original list due to the one-to-many relationship between gene and protein identifiers. Furthermore, pseudo genes and micro RNA genes will not map to any protein.
